SCRAP Creative Reuse
SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Become witches, wizards, monsters, and detectives while crafting custom wands, potions, and magical familiars. This imaginative camp blends fantasy themes with creative problem-solving as campers solve puzzles and create enchanted objects from recycled materials.
