SCRAP Creative Reuse
SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Kick off summer with a week of creative reuse art-making, inventing, and imaginative crafts. Campers enjoy a mix of staff-led projects and free creation time using donated and recycled materials. Perfect for kids who love bringing their creative ideas to life through sustainable art.
