SCRAP Creative Reuse
SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Draw inspiration from the natural world while creating art from recycled materials. Campers craft creatures from oceans, mountains, deserts, and mythical realms including bugs, birds, monsters, robots, and aliens. A week of imaginative exploration connecting nature and sustainable creativity.
