Backbeat Music Academy offers music lessons for children and adults, focusing on exploration, creativity, and building confidence through a variety of instruments and group band experiences.
Each summer, Backbeat Music Academy runs music camps for kids, including rock band, songwriting, strings, and computer game music composition, with programs available for ages 3 and up.
The academy is located in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of southwest Portland.
About the activity:
Form a band AND try 100+ instruments! Alternate between rock band rehearsals and hands-on instrument exploration. Perform a gig at week's end. Full day camp 9am-4pm across 3 weeks in summer. Ages 5-8.
