Backbeat Music Academy offers music lessons for children and adults, focusing on exploration, creativity, and building confidence through a variety of instruments and group band experiences.
Each summer, Backbeat Music Academy runs music camps for kids, including rock band, songwriting, strings, and computer game music composition, with programs available for ages 3 and up.
The academy is located in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of southwest Portland.
About the activity:
Form bands, choose your songs, rehearse together, and rock out at an end-of-week performance! Grouped by age, skill, and interests. Half-day 9am-12pm. Week 5 (June 29-July 3). Ages 8-13, all levels welcome.
