Elemental Studios is a ceramics studio offering classes and workshops for all skill levels, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative exploration.
Each summer, Elemental Studios offers ceramics classes for teens ages 12-17, including beginner and intermediate wheel courses, with supervised Open Studio time for additional practice.
The studio is located in the King neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Discover the joy of working at the pottery wheel in this 8-week beginner ceramics course designed for teens in Portland. Students develop foundational wheel-throwing skills alongside trimming, decorating, glazing, and kiln preparation in a flow-state-focused, community-driven environment. Limited to 8 students for personalized instruction from experienced teaching artist Brittney Baldwin.
