Elemental Studios is a ceramics studio offering classes and workshops for all skill levels, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative exploration.
Each summer, Elemental Studios offers ceramics classes for teens ages 12-17, including beginner and intermediate wheel courses, with supervised Open Studio time for additional practice.
The studio is located in the King neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Teens dive deep into wheel throwing and clay artistry in this hands-on 6-day summer intensive at Elemental Studios in Portland. The immersive program blends technical skill-building with creative exploration and mindful community circles, guiding students through the complete ceramic process from centering clay to firing finished pieces. Two sessions offered in summer 2026; limited to 8 participants.
