Elemental Studios is a ceramics studio offering classes and workshops for all skill levels, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative exploration.
Each summer, Elemental Studios offers ceramics classes for teens ages 12-17, including beginner and intermediate wheel courses, with supervised Open Studio time for additional practice.
The studio is located in the King neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Elevate your ceramics skills in this 8-week intermediate wheel-throwing course for teens at Elemental Studios in Portland. Build on prior experience to tackle lidded jars, thrown-and-altered pieces, and intricate surface design techniques including sgraffito and slip trailing. Small class size of 8 students ensures focused feedback from instructor Logan Stefonek.
