Elemental Studios is a ceramics studio offering classes and workshops for all skill levels, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative exploration.
Each summer, Elemental Studios offers ceramics classes for teens ages 12-17, including beginner and intermediate wheel courses, with supervised Open Studio time for additional practice.
The studio is located in the King neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Young potters explore the full ceramic process in this immersive 6-day summer intensive at Elemental Studios in Portland. Guided by a BFA-trained educator, participants master wheel throwing, hand-building, nature-inspired sculpting, and glazing through a mindfulness-centered, play-based curriculum. Three sessions available June through August; limited to 8 students per session.
