Backpacking: Teen Girls | Session 1

About the activity:

Challenge yourself on an unforgettable trek through central Oregon’s breathtaking alpine meadows and ancient lava flows. Designed for tenacious young individuals who identify as women, non-binary, and/or gender-expansive, this adventure teaches low-impact camping, wilderness survival, and orienteering with a map and compass. Perfect for beginner backpackers in good physical condition, this journey will push your limits while building confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships. Trails and campsites may vary based on conditions, ensuring a unique and dynamic experience. With challenging physical activity, the camp takes place in the Three Sisters Wilderness, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
