The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon, is a leading science center offering interactive exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and educational programs for all ages. Think you can survive in the wild? Challenge accepted! At Camp Hancock, you’ll learn essential survival skills like building shelters, safely foraging for food and water, and crafting a survival wristband to keep. Choose your own desert adventure as you explore canyons, cool off by the river, and sleep under a sky full of stars. Enjoy Camp Hancock traditions like Chuckwagon breakfast, adventure games, and campfire singalongs, all while making new friends and gaining confidence in the outdoors. Whether you're a beginner or building on skills from Junior Survival, this camp is a perfect step toward Wilderness Survival. With moderate physical activity, it takes place at Hancock Field Station in Fossil, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
