Each summer, Cedarwood hosts a variety of camps for children from pre-K through rising 8th grade, including programs in circus arts, book arts, cooking, mixed media, printmaking, outdoor adventure, and more.
The school is located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of southwest Portland.

Say goodbye to ordinary books and hello to limitless creativity at Book Arts Camp! For rising grades 2-8. Young creators will dive into the fascinating world of bookmaking, mastering everything from binding to printmaking as they design one-of-a-kind books that are equal parts art and story—and 100% theirs. Along the way, they’ll find inspiration in Cedarwood’s natural surroundings, explore their imaginations, and experience the magic of bringing something unique to life from scratch. Whether they’re passionate about drawing, writing, or crafting with their hands, this camp has something special for everyone!
