Cedarwood Waldorf School is an independent school offering Waldorf-inspired education for early childhood through middle school.

Each summer, Cedarwood hosts a variety of camps for children from pre-K through rising 8th grade, including programs in circus arts, book arts, cooking, mixed media, printmaking, outdoor adventure, and more.

The school is located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of southwest Portland.

At Circus Arts Camp, kids will learn thrilling skills like stilt walking, spinning a diablo, ribbon twirling, and balancing on rolling globes—while diving into clowning, theatrical play, and colorful prop-making! With zany games and creative collaboration, campers work toward an original end-of-week performance guaranteed to wow. Led by master clowns and performers Michael O’Neill and Heather Pearl—veterans of international stages and co-founders of Nomadic Theatre Company—this camp promises nonstop fun, laughter, and a chance to step into the spotlight under the big top!
