About the activity:

Step into a professional-grade creative studio where young artists become filmmakers, composers, and digital storytellers. In this immersive, small-group lab, students will design, shoot, edit, and score their own original short films using iPads, iMovie, and industry-standard music-production tools. Guided by teaching artists, participants move through the complete audiovisual pipeline—from first concept to final export—gaining both creative confidence and real-world technical skills.

Each artist will also compose and produce a custom soundtrack for their film using professional audio equipment and software, learning how music and sound design shape emotion, pacing, and storytelling.

No prior film or music experience is required—this camp is designed to meet beginners and experienced creators alike, offering multiple entry points and creative pathways.
