Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Fluent Spanish speakers are warmly welcome—this camp includes the option for Spanish-language immersion with a bilingual teaching artist.
Love animation, storytelling, and bringing characters to life? In this camp, you’ll create your own stop-motion film using art, imagination, and hands-on techniques! Whether you prefer working in 2D, 3D, or a mix of both, you’ll dive into the essentials of filmmaking—storyboarding, lighting, animation, editing, and special effects—to bring your vision to life. Build miniature sets, develop unique characters, and get inspired by watching student films in our gallery.
