Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Create your own monsters and aliens from imagination, not templates. Campers design expressive creatures and build them through drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media while experimenting with bold textures and layers. Students learn how artists use line, shape, color, and texture to bring characters to life and develop visual storytelling skills.
