Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.
Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.
Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.
About the activity:
Even if you're "little," you can do a lot—and in this high-energy NWCT musical, you’ll prove it! Join Matilda Wormwood and her brave schoolmates as they stand up to the terrifying Miss Trunchbull in a story packed with wit, rebellion, and unforgettable songs. Every camper gets a role, from revolting children to heroic bookworms, as we rehearse, sing, and bring this beloved tale to life onstage. The final performance takes place Friday at 2:30 PM at The Reser—get ready to raise your voice and steal the show!
