Broadway Rose Theatre Company is a professional musical theatre company producing a range of mainstage shows and educational programs in the Portland metro area.
Each summer, Broadway Rose offers youth theatre camps and a technical internship program for students from high school through college, providing hands-on experience in performance and backstage roles.
The company is based in Tigard, serving the southwest Portland metropolitan community.
About the activity:
Kids ages 8-12 experience all facets of live theatre in this immersive two-week summer drama camp at Broadway Rose Theatre Company. Campers explore improvisation, theatre games, and performance and technical skills, then perform as the ensemble cast in a full production of Jack and the Beanstalk alongside professional actors in four public performances. A unique opportunity to experience performing on a real stage. Scholarships available.
