Broadway Rose Theatre Company is a professional musical theatre company producing a range of mainstage shows and educational programs in the Portland metro area.
Each summer, Broadway Rose offers youth theatre camps and a technical internship program for students from high school through college, providing hands-on experience in performance and backstage roles.
The company is based in Tigard, serving the southwest Portland metropolitan community.
About the activity:
Young performers ages 8-12 spend a week building vocal performance, choreography, and character development skills at Broadway Rose Theatre Company's summer workshop in Tigard. Campers collaborate with instructors to create and perform a 30-minute original show featuring 4-5 musical numbers for family and friends. No prior experience needed! Two session dates available in June and July. Scholarships available.
