About the activity:

YMA’s Piano program offers a nurturing, focused environment where students build technical skills, musicality, and confidence. Each pianist receives private lessons every other day, along with daily scheduled practice and classes in music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and history. Students explore solo and duet repertoire, with opportunities to perform in masterclasses, ensembles, and the final show. From listening to great recordings to ensemble collaboration, each day is filled with thoughtful exploration of the piano and its rich legacy. Open to students who have completed 6th grade and are ready to grow as musicians.
