NW Children's Theater & School
Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.
Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.
Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.
About the activity:
Eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka has selected a group of children to tour his mysterious chocolate factory. Mayhem and magic ensue as children compete to see who will win a chance to enter, and who will make it back out again. Everyone gets a part in this sweet NWCT Playlab!
Performance Camps are all about putting on a play or musical. Students audition, rehearse, and perform. Families and friends are invited to the final performance held on the last Friday of camp.
