About the activity:

Letters, sounds, and stories come to life in this playful, hands-on literacy and art camp. Using an Orton-Gillingham–inspired multisensory approach, campers build strong reading and writing foundations through movement, touch, visual exploration, and creative expression. Children sculpt letters, paint word patterns, and illustrate their own stories, experiencing language in ways that are engaging, memorable, and developmentally supportive. By blending literacy instruction with art-making, the camp strengthens phonemic awareness, phonics and decoding skills, spelling and handwriting, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and storytelling while building confidence and joy around reading and writing.
