Saturday Academy is a nonprofit organization providing hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning experiences for students in grades K-12.
Each summer, Saturday Academy offers full-day, week-long camps for grades K-8, with programming focused on STEAM topics such as robotics, animation, engineering, and more.
Camps are primarily held on the University of Portland campus in North Portland, with some sessions at Portland State University and OHSU.

Unleash your creativity and explore the intersection of storytelling and technology in this one-of-a-kind sampler! Whether stepping into the role of a filmmaker, graphic designer, music producer, or journalist, CREATORS will experiment with unique art forms that bring their ideas to life while developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Each week, campers dive into a new industry, tackling hands-on projects that showcase the power of creative expression across different fields. Along the way, they’ll meet and learn from professionals representing a wide range of STEAM careers—from sports science to engineering, computer science to movie making—discovering what excites and inspires them. The future of storytelling starts here!
