Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Design costumes from imagination and bring characters to life. Campers create capes, masks, and props using colorful materials, upcycled finds, and kid-safe tools while learning basics of costume design, sewing, and crafting. By the end of camp, each child leaves with a unique wearable creation and new skills in creative self-expression.
