Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Animal Rhythms blends creative movement with visual art as campers explore animals, habitats, and natural rhythms. Kids stomp, flutter, and slither their way through dance-inspired play while creating colorful 2D and 3D art. Spanish vocabulary is introduced through joyful songs and games, and 2026 adds a literacy component built around storytelling and discussion. This camp is funded in part by the Pacific Power Foundation.
