Saturday Academy is a nonprofit organization providing hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning experiences for students in grades K-12.
Each summer, Saturday Academy offers full-day, week-long camps for grades K-8, with programming focused on STEAM topics such as robotics, animation, engineering, and more.
Camps are primarily held on the University of Portland campus in North Portland, with some sessions at Portland State University and OHSU.
About the activity:
Young engineers explore mechanical and civil engineering fundamentals through hands-on projects alongside real industry professionals. This weeklong STEAM camp at Central Catholic HS combines artistic and scientific thinking to tackle engineering challenges through creative problem-solving.
