OMSI
OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.
Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.
Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!
About the activity:
Level up your gaming skills! If you’ve completed the first round of Games Galore, this class will help you build on what you’ve learned. Campers will explore how computers and keyboards work together to control programs, and use programming tools to add features like running scores, life meters, and more to make their games even more interactive.
Note: This advanced class is for students in grades 4–8 who have completed the OMSI Games Galore class.
