Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Become a visual storyteller by making a comic or graphic novel from start to finish. Campers learn character design, plotting, panel composition, pacing, and expressive drawing while developing a multi-page narrative. Students leave with completed pages, stronger storytelling skills, and more confidence in their creative voice.
