Portland Drama Club
Portland Drama Club is a nonprofit youth theater organization focused on producing full-scale musical and dramatic performances with costumes, sets, and props.
Each summer, Portland Drama Club offers production-based theater camps for students entering grades K–12, with programs tailored to different age groups and experience levels.
Camps are held at Saint David of Wales church in the Sunnyside neighborhood of southeast Portland.
About the activity:
Get ready to sing, dance, and stand up for what’s right in Matilda JR., a fast-paced, magical musical about a brilliant young girl who uses her wit—and a touch of mischief—to overcome the odds! Designed for students entering grades 4–9, this joyful and empowering production is packed with unforgettable characters, high-energy numbers, and plenty of heart. All campers will take the stage as part of the cast, developing their skills in acting, singing, and dancing while bringing this inspiring story to life!
