Northwest Vocal Arts is a nonprofit choral organization focused on musical excellence and youth mentorship through professional and community-based vocal ensembles.
Each summer, Northwest Vocal Arts offers a Summer Choral Academy for youth, with additional year-round programs for students in grades 8–12 and high school choral apprentices.
Programs and rehearsals are held in the Rose City Park neighborhood of northeast Portland.

Do your children love to sing or are they interested in finding their voice? Are you looking for a fun and educational way to make the most of the summer days? Then, NWVA Youth Choral Academy is for you!
Our camp is open to students grades PK-8 and no prior musical experience is required!
Camp registrants will be broken into groups by age/grade level and provided musical instruction by some of the region’s finest vocalists and certified K-12 music educators, assisted by our high school interns and collegiate scholars. The camp will run from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. with an option for extended afternoon care through 5 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to perform in a culminating concert on Friday at 6 p.m. for friends and family with a reception to follow.
