NW Vocal Arts
Northwest Vocal Arts is a nonprofit choral organization focused on musical excellence and youth mentorship through professional and community-based vocal ensembles.
Each summer, Northwest Vocal Arts offers a Summer Choral Academy for youth, with additional year-round programs for students in grades 8–12 and high school choral apprentices.
Programs and rehearsals are held in the Rose City Park neighborhood of northeast Portland.
About the activity:
Young singers explore choral music in this fun, week-long summer camp at Rose City Park United Methodist Church. Kids PreK-5th grade participate in age-grouped vocal warm-ups, instrument-making, musical games, and group singing, with private lessons and mentorship from Northwest Vocal Arts professionals. Culminates in a family performance and dinner. After care available.
