About the activity:

Step into a world of wild imagination where creatures crawl, float, roar, and glow! In this exciting week-long art camp, young artists will design, invent, and bring to life their own monsters and aliens using a wide variety of materials and techniques.

Campers will explore drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media while experimenting with textures, layers, and bold creative choices. Through guided projects and open-ended exploration, students will learn how artists use line, shape, color, and texture to create characters that feel expressive and alive.

Rather than copying existing characters, campers will be encouraged to invent their own original creatures, developing imagination, problem-solving, and visual storytelling skills as they design everything from tiny one-eyed critters to towering intergalactic beasts.
