Each summer, Cedarwood hosts a variety of camps for children from pre-K through rising 8th grade, including programs in circus arts, book arts, cooking, mixed media, printmaking, outdoor adventure, and more.
The school is located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of southwest Portland.
About the activity:
Step back in time and live like a pioneer at Pioneer Camp! Campers will immerse themselves in the lives of early settlers through hands-on activities like basket weaving, sewing, and embroidery. Along the way, they'll enjoy cooking traditional recipes, listening to stories, singing songs, and learning folk dances. The week culminates in a joyful park celebration with games, handmade ice cream, and a family folk dance that's sure to delight everyone.
