Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Join us for a fun camp focusing on 3D techniques to create miniature scenes. Each student will brainstorm, sketch and create their own miniature sculpture. Students will learn how to build armatures out of recycled materials, and learn new techniques to create texture and detail. We will collaborate together to unify our scenes and create a city, village, or landscape of diverse creations. **Safety warning: We will be using low temperature hot glue guns during class.
