OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.
Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.
Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!
About the activity:
Calling all girls! Elevate your STEM skills with LEGO Robotics! Using the latest LEGO SPIKE Prime kit, campers will strengthen critical and abstract thinking while tackling more challenging problems. Build on the basics of coding and robotic engineering as you dive deeper into programming and hands-on projects with this next-generation LEGO robotics kit.
Note: This advanced class is for students in grades 4–8 who have completed an introductory LEGO Robotics class.
