SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Teens who love scale models, fantasy worlds, and hands-on making craft miniature wooden furniture, dioramas, and dollhouse-style environments in this 3-day intensive at SCRAP PDX in Portland. Develop fine-detail sculpting and woodworking skills using reclaimed and upcycled materials—ideal for fans of D&D, animation, architecture, and miniature art.
