SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Young crafters ages 7-12 explore upcycled art-making at this hands-on week-long summer camp at SCRAP PDX's Education Studio in Portland. Kids dive into daily themed projects using reclaimed and repurposed materials, mixing staff-led crafting sessions with open free-creation time. Build imaginative skills while discovering the joy of sustainable making.
