Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
East Winds Band Camp, held on the campus of Centennial High School is the premiere day band camp in the Metro area and has been offering rewarding, inspiring musical experiences to young musicians for over 10 years. Rehearsals are directed by top band directors from middle schools and high schools in Northwest Oregon. Rehearsals run from 9 am to 4 pm with several break-out sessions for focused instrument sectionals, jazz or chamber ensembles, and World Music.
*PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE A BAND CAMP, WE DO NOT HAVE STRING SECTIONALISTS ON OUR FACULTY.*
