This joyful half-day camp helps rising kindergarteners build confidence and prepare for school in a supportive, creative environment led by certified early elementary teachers. Each day blends structure and play as campers explore early literacy through stories, art, movement, and hands-on learning. Campers build phonics and literacy foundations using the Heggerty approach, practice letter recognition and writing, and strengthen sequencing skills aligned with kindergarten standards. Interactive read-alouds, paired with art activities, reinforce language concepts and encourage creative expression. Daily movement, outdoor play, and a snack and social break support focus, routine, and social-emotional growth, helping children feel excited and ready for kindergarten.
