KR Clay Art offers pottery camps, workshops, and ceramics sales led by an experienced local educator.
Each summer, KR Clay Art hosts pottery camps for kids entering 1st–9th grades, featuring hand-building, wheel throwing, and mixed media art in small groups.
The studio is located in Portland’s Arnold Creek neighborhood, with activities often taking place in nearby forests and fields.
About the activity:
Young artists build large-scale ceramic sculptures in this hands-on clay camp led by professional ceramic artist Paige Wright in Northeast Portland. Campers dive deep into creative clay work each week with abundant materials, warm-up exercises, skill-building projects, and open studio time in an indoor/outdoor workspace. Sessions run Monday–Friday, 9am–1pm, with snacks provided. Multiple summer dates available for ages 7–13.
