Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Plan, sketch, and sculpt miniature scenes in this 3D art camp. Students build armatures from recycled materials and learn techniques for texture, detail, and surface finishing. Campers then connect their work into a collaborative city, village, or landscape. **Safety warning: We will be using low temperature hot glue guns during class.
