Metropolitan Performing Arts is a community theatre and performing arts school offering training in acting, dance, singing, and technical theatre for children and adults.
Each summer, Metropolitan Performing Arts provides theatre camps and classes for youth, with programs available for a range of ages.
The organization is based in Vancouver, serving the greater Southwest Washington and Vancouver metro area.
About the activity:
Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. brings the beloved educational series to the stage in a lively musical format. The plot centers on a nervous first-year teacher named Tom who is searching for a way to connect with his students. Through a series of imaginative sequences, characters emerge from his TV to guide him, proving that education can be both creative and entertaining. The production features well-known classics including "Conjunction Junction," "Just a Bill," and "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly," showing how music can bring history, grammar, and math to life.
