About the activity:

In the morning, grab your hardhat and get ready to build! In this Civil Engineering camp, students will explore the forces that shape structures—bending, compression, torsion, and shear—while designing towers, bridges, and highways. Using the EFK Engineering Design Process, they’ll tackle exciting challenges that take their curiosity and skills to new heights! Then in the afternoon, in this class, students will design and build their own Minecraft amusement park! They’ll tackle engineering and teamwork challenges, draft blueprints, and plan their parks on paper before bringing them to life in Minecraft—just like real amusement park designers! Note: Before and After care are available through Catlin Gabel.
