About the activity:

Blast off into NASA’s Mars missions! Students will explore the landers and orbiters studying the Red Planet, uncovering how they support NASA’s engineers and scientists. Through hands-on STEM challenges and the EFK Engineering Design Process, they’ll discover the technology driving space exploration and the path to sending humans to Mars. While in the afternoon, imagine designing a piano with celery or creating a custom digital training program. In our hardware engineering program, students use a Makey Makey device and everyday materials to build customized video game controllers. By exploring circuitry, acoustical engineering, and game design, they’ll discover creative ways to interact with technology in a fun, collaborative environment!
