NW Film Camp

Now open

NW Film Camp offers filmmaking camps for kids and teens interested in learning the art and craft of film production.

Summer programs include week-long day camps for ages 8-11 (Creator Camp) and 12-17 (Filmmaker Camp), covering scriptwriting, filming, editing, and collaborative storytelling.

Camps are held at the World Forestry Center in Washington Park, a central location in southwest Portland.

About the activity:

Aspiring teen filmmakers ages 12-17 master every stage of professional film production at PCC Southeast in SE Portland. Collaborative week-long camps guide students through the complete pipeline — from script development, directing, and acting to cinematography, sound design, and final editing using Canon cameras and Adobe Premiere Pro. Students finish the week with a short film ready to share with the community. Scholarships available for qualifying families.
