Tinker Camp is a hands-on maker and STEM-focused organization offering creative programs for youth interested in building, tinkering, and exploring technology.
Each summer, Tinker Camp runs camps and workshops for school-age children, with programming designed for a range of ages and experience levels.
Tinker Camp is based in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland.
About the activity:
"The Play's the Thing wherein I will catch the conscience of the king" is a famous line from Hamlet who uses a play to start his evil plot. We won't plan any evil, but you will be the one producing a new play. So, get your show on! Your skills are needed to mount the next Tinky Award winning play. If you are interested in writing a script, if you like costuming, if you like building sets or if acting is your gig, then it is showtime at Tinker Camp.
