Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.
Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.
Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.
About the activity:
Step into the spotlight and sing your heart out in this high-energy Broadway Skills Camp! Campers will build confidence and stage presence as they dive into vocal warm-ups, acting exercises, and choreography—bringing show-stopping songs from their favorite musicals to life. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage, this camp is your ticket to exploring the magic of musical theater and growing your performance skills. Families are invited to an informal showcase during the final 30 minutes of the last day!
