Vibe of Portland is a nonprofit organization providing accessible art and music education for youth.
Each summer, Vibe offers half-day and full-day art camps for children ages 5–14, encouraging imaginative thinking and creative exploration.
Programs are held at Vibe Studios in southeast Portland and at community locations throughout the city.
About the activity:
Embrace the season with Vibe’s cozy three-day sewing workshop—perfect for beginner to intermediate makers! Campers will bring their ideas to life through fabric, creating plush characters, pillows, and stylish accessories like small bags or pouches. With hands-on guidance, they’ll build confidence using sewing machines and tools, learning to cut, stitch, and finish their projects with care. It’s a fun, creative way to connect, craft, and make something special before the holiday break!
