SCRAP Creative Reuse
SCRAP Creative Reuse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
Each summer, SCRAP offers Camp SCRAP, a creative reuse camp for children, where participants use reclaimed materials for art and craft projects; ages served may vary by program.
The center is located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.
About the activity:
Camp SCRAP is an art camp centered on themes of creative reuse. This camp is for youth who LOVE inventing, making, and bringing their creative ideas to life!
Each day there will be a fun mix of staff-led projects and time for free creation. During free creation, campers will design a project of their choice with a wide variety of materials.

Youth can explore the possibilities of all of the discarded materials in the world around us and ways to creatively reuse materials in artistic projects, create and play games, try out experiments, and make quality, useful projects infused with their own artistic ideas and creativity.
