Saturday Academy is a nonprofit organization providing hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning experiences for students in grades K-12.
Each summer, Saturday Academy offers full-day, week-long camps for grades K-8, with programming focused on STEAM topics such as robotics, animation, engineering, and more.
Camps are primarily held on the University of Portland campus in North Portland, with some sessions at Portland State University and OHSU.
About the activity:
Get ready for a genre-blending adventure where stories and STEAM collide! In this action-packed day, students will journey through worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, history, and thrillers, using choice-making and improvisation to create twists and surprises at every turn. Guided by their imaginations, they’ll work together to craft an unforgettable narrative while tackling exciting experiments and challenges. Every decision shapes the story, making this a one-of-a-kind STEAM-powered journey full of creativity, collaboration, and discovery!
